Celebrating a Second Chance at Life Survivorship Symposiums
BMT InfoNet hosts national symposiums for survivors of a bone marrow, stem cell or cord blood transplant. The Celebrating a Second Chance at Life symposiums give survivors and their loved ones a chance to learn from experts, meet other survivors, exchange information and share stories.
At every symposium, medical experts give presentations on the latest developments in transplant science and survivorship. Presentations include overcoming the emotional and physical challenges that post-transplant patients often face.
We also hold smaller, regional meetings that usually focus on a single aspect of the transplant experience. At these meetings, attendees can get in depth information on a specific topic, attend breakout sessions and talk with medical experts.
The most recent Celebrating a Second Chance at Life symposium was held in Burlington Massachusetts on March 20-21, 2010. To view those presentations click here.
